Welcome to our weekly property feature. This week we are focussing on some fantastic casual leasing opportunities in the Adelaide CBD area. Both shopping centres are located on Rundle Mall, with annual foot traffic of 24.5 million.

The Centre is home to Australia’s premier department store, David Jones. Other retailers include Tiffany & Co, Solid Gold Diamonds, L’Occitane, Joanne Mercer, Maggie T, Cue, Veronika Maine, Raymond Poulton, Pumpkin Patch, Bed Bath & Table and The Body Shop, about 40 retail outlets in all. The centre covers a floor space of about 27,784 square metres over five levels.
The Centre currently has three inline stores available for short-term lease:

The Myer Centre is a shopping centre in the heart of the Adelaide CBD situated along the Rundle Mall shopping precinct. Other major retailers include Rebel Sport, Lincraft, ABC Shop, Chemist Warehouse, Rivers, TEMT, Toyworld and Priceline. Above the centre is a 6 level office tower, called Terrace Towers, which houses numerous federal and state government departments.
Over 70% of residents in the main trade area are white collar workers with an average household income is $79,000 per annum. 73% of households in the local trade area have 2 or more 2 occupants. 40% have dependent children.
The Centre currently has two indoor open spaces available for short-term lease:
- A prominent site located at the Rundle Mall middle entry into the shopping centre – 2m x 3m space with power available.
- A well positioned site beside the customer service desk – 1.5m x 4m space with power available.
There is also a unique advertising opportunity with four panels available for short-term lease on the Rundle Mall frontage. This is a very high profile space with exposure to approximately 27 million pedestrians each year.
